About the farm
Elephant Island is a family-run orchard and winery in Naramata, BC. We grow cherries, grapes, crab apples and other fruit, and make our wines right here on the farm. As a certified sustainable operation, we care about the land, the quality of what we grow, and the people who help us do it. Our seasonal crews bring together people from around the world. Depending on the role and season, work includes orchard and vineyard care, picking and sorting fruit, and helping bring in the harvest. It’s hands-on, physical work, shaped by the weather and the needs of the crop. We value reliability, teamwork, curiosity and care—for the fruit, the farm and one another. We appreciate the contribution each person makes and aim to create a welcoming workplace.
